Geophysical Models
There are a range of models held by the WDC which allow the user to make runs
of the models using real data from the WDC archives. The first model to be
made available is the MSIS-86 model.
- MSIS-86
(Mass Spectrometer - Incoherent Scatter) Model of the Upper
Atmosphere.
A brief description of the model is

- MSISE-90
(Mass Spectrometer - Incoherent Scatter) Model of the Upper
Atmosphere.
This model is NOT an upgrade for the upper thermosphere and
is probably less efficient than MSIS86.
